The 24′ feet wooden extension ladder has grown popular recently as it fits the contractors’ van, and trucks better. These wooden extension ladders are made from Grade A wood, and are durable and long-lasting.

These TNB wooden ladders ,either as 25 feet or 30 feet extension ladder, are fabricated from timber from the Strength Group C and above. These type of timber selected are always equal or above the strength group SG 5 of MS 544:Part 2:2001.

The type of timber used are usually kembang semangkok or kedondong. Depending on timber availability at these long lengths, other timber from similar Strength Group C and above may be used as well.

The timber used are ideal for ladders as they are strong, and hard, but at the same time are light weight as well. This allow the fabrication of wooden ladder that are not too heavy to carry around, especially the double extension ladders.

The wooden extension ladders come as a complete set with pulley system and rope to help lift or lower down the extension ladder for deployment or for storage. These high grade ladders are well-built and heavy, hence the pulley system is important for uplifting and lowering the ladders.

These wooden extension ladders has been tested by SIRIM ,  meeting the requirements of BS EN:131
